About this site
Home Fix Daily publishes practical, step-by-step DIY guides, honest cost breakdowns and maintenance checklists for homeowners. All content is provided for general information and educational purposes only. We are an editorial website, not a trades business, and nothing on this site constitutes professional advice.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to:

- misuse the site in a way that could damage it or impair its availability;

Accuracy of content
We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date, but home improvement methods, costs and regulations change over time. We make no guarantees that the content on this site is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for decisions you make based on it. Always verify measurements, materials and local building codes before starting work.
Your safety
DIY work carries inherent risks, especially involving electrical systems, plumbing, gas, structural changes or work at height. You are responsible for your own safety: wear appropriate protective equipment, switch off power and water supplies where relevant, and hire a licensed professional whenever you are unsure. See our Disclaimer for more detail. We are not liable for injury, damage or loss arising from work you carry out.
